Mastering Windows, from API to pixel.

I'm Eduardo Gutierrez — I've been building Windows apps since 2023 as the solo developer, designer, and founder behind ModernApp Labs. Every app here is designed and built by hand: the interface, the C# underneath it, the Store listing, all of it.

The mission

Fluent at the core, custom by design.

Windows has incredible power under the hood, and I take the platform seriously — the APIs, the design system, the performance characteristics. ModernApp Labs exists to show what happens when you master all of it: apps that feel truly native, with interfaces designed deliberately instead of assembled from defaults.

There's no assembly line. I sketch the UX, architect the backend, push pixels through Win2D, survive Store certification, and cut the marketing assets. One person, end to end — so nothing gets lost between a designer and an engineer, because they're the same person.
